The current main hall was built in 1808 AD. It is a wooden building from the Edo period that was rare in Osaka city and escaped the aftermath of World War II. As a result, the splendor of Edo art, such as over 100 colorful floral designs painted on the ceiling of the hall, and pillars and sculptures decorated with lacquer, gold leaf and colored paintings, remain, and this history has been passed down to present-day Osaka.
