This is a special plan available only on the official website that allows you to participate in the morning service at Mitsuji Temple, Daifuku-in Temple, Shippozan, which is loved by the locals as the "Kannon-san of Minami Osaka." Thanks to the kindness of the temple, you can experience it at no additional charge. ◇About morning work experience◇ ・Meeting time: 7:15-7:30 *Please be punctual ・Meeting location: Mitsuji temple grounds ・Time required: 7:30-8:00 (about 30 minutes) *Please come to the designated location within the Mitsuji temple grounds (a map will be given to you at check-in) at the meeting time. If you are late, you will not be able to participate. *Temples are places of worship, so please behave with common sense. *The event may be canceled suddenly due to memorial services, etc. Please note. *Notes on the goshuin book and picture copying of sutras are not included. If you wish, you can apply directly at the temple (charges apply). ◇What is Mitsu-dera?◇ Mitsu-dera is a Shingon sect temple that was founded in 744 AD by order of Emperor Shomu, when Gyoki Bodhisattva carved and enshrined an eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva statue to mourn for Emperor Ojin. The current main hall was built in 1808 AD. This is a wooden building from the Edo period that survived World War II, which is rare in Osaka city.
