This is a special plan available only on the official website that allows you to participate in the morning service at Mitsuji Temple, Daifuku-in Temple, Shippozan, which is loved by the locals as the "Kannon-san of Minami Osaka." Enjoy a unique experience starting your day at the main hall, which retains the culture of the Edo period. Thanks to the kindness of the temple, you can experience it at no additional charge. ◇About morning work experience◇ ・Meeting time: 7:15-7:30 *Please be punctual ・Meeting location: Mitsuji temple grounds ・Time required: 7:30-8:00 (about 30 minutes) *Please come to the designated location within the Mitsuji temple grounds (a map will be given to you at check-in) at the meeting time. If you are late, you will not be able to participate. *Temples are places of worship, so please behave with common sense. *The event may be canceled suddenly due to memorial services, etc. Please note. *Notes on the goshuin book and picture copying of sutras are not included. If you wish, you can apply directly at the temple (charges apply). ◇What is Mitsu-dera?◇ Mitsu-dera is a Shingon sect temple that was founded in 744 AD by order of Emperor Shomu, when Gyoki Bodhisattva carved and enshrined an eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva statue to mourn for Emperor Ojin. The current main hall was built in 1808 AD. This is a wooden building from the Edo period that survived World War II, which is rare in Osaka city.
